Who are you?
What do you stand for?
What will you do with your life?
How do you stand out from the crowd?
These are questions that I, and probably most of you, are being asked to this very day. Learning who you are and how you fit in today’s world can be one of the hardest things to discover. In my 23 years, I would like to say that I have figured it out, but I am afraid that is simply not true. I am just now beginning to scratch the surface, but that does not mean I have not picked up a few tricks along the way- and that is where Managing Morgan began.
I began to think back to times when I could have used the knowledge I now possess and how I wished someone could have been there to guide me through it. That was when I realized that I could not change the past, but I could help change someone else’s future. I could be that guide for you!
Moving to San Diego with my husband has been the biggest change in my life. Starting over in a new city where everything and everyone was new to me was both nerve-racking and thrilling. There were things to learn, things to do, new experiences to be had, but I was excited about it all. Stepping out of my shell, I took on the city for all it had. I began school that following semester, I explored the city, I learned to network, and I thoroughly enjoyed life for once.
Living in San Diego for over 2 years now, I have experienced many things and I cannot wait to share my advice with you about it all. But what can you expect from Managing Morgan you may ask?
Think anything and everything honestly. Imagine life as a student, travel snippets, my favorite parts of San Diego, dealing with the hard stuff in life, mental and physical health, and even tips on how to navigate the world as a professional young adult.
I created Managing Morgan with YOU in mind and tips and guidance for you is what you will get back!
I am a wife and a student and I currently live in sunny San Diego with my husband and our array of animals. My school life is currently taking me to university this fall where I will be continuing my studies in Biology as a pre-med student. Studying takes up much of my time, so I like to enjoy spending time outdoors and with my husband when I can.
My favorite pastimes include hiking, bar hopping, and the beach, but nothing beats a Saturday morning at the Little Italy Farmers Market here in San Diego. I am vegan and an environmentalist so I am constantly trying to decrease my carbon footprint as much as I can. I like to pride myself on living an intentional and deliberate life while leaving my mark wherever life may take me.
I am a firm believer in “less is more” and hope to fully live minimally one day. I believe you should be kind to everyone and at the end of the day, what God has provided will always be enough.
